Astronaut Tony Felson was on the Space Station for too long by himself and he just might have been going crazy. He thought that his friend and mission partner was dead, and the damn mission control planners had failed to let him bring a woman up with him as he had strongly suggested to them. Everything he thought that he knew about science and fantasy exploded and combined when Jeannie Starr magically appeared in front of him. She was the dream woman who was real. He had been rubbing the exotic vase that he had found on one of his more famous mission splashdowns into the ocean, and his swim to get it had made him world famous.
She had appeared out of the mist from the vase. She said that she was for him to name and control, and although she had the magical powers, he was her master and she was his servant in all ways. Sensual surprises and sexual delights kept drawing their orbits closer and closer together. The master and the servant became a couple who were joined joined in time and place and space.
Their surprises and discoveries shook the space station and each other, and Earth was where they cast their eyes and their speeding surprises toward next. Tony Felson wanted revenge on the mission control people who had killed his friend, and his own Jeannie Starr was just the beauty to help him get it. Even if he was crazy, he knew what he had and he loved the way that she gave it to him. In space no one could hear someone scream, and they were just getting started. Mission control wasn't just an idea, it was an adventure. Their wishes were someone else's commands. Look out world. Jeannie Starr was coming, and Tony Felson was calling the shots in space. The real world and their personal worlds were about to collide.

Diverging from his normal tried and true erotic format, Alvin Slater presents “The Astronaut: A Genie in Space.” While still an erotic tale, this one delves more into a Sci-Fi field, giving us Slater’s usual Character Driven story, yet in space.“They seemed to think that the word ‘scream’ in the same sentence as the word ‘space’ would bring negative thoughts to their adoring public.” – Excerpt from the Novel.
This line should give you a good inkling of the kind of adventure you are in for in Slater’s newest novel. Yes, this may be in direct reference to “Alien” – but the book itself is definitely not of the horror variety, at least not in the Ridley Scott way of thinking. Instead, this is a captivating tale of one Major Tony Felson who is on the International Space Station and screaming into his own little void and very possibly losing his mind while he does it.
Fascinating, steamy and very different from his usual fare, Slater stepped out of his comfort zone with this book, and slammed it out of the park.

THE ASTRONAUT LUCKY STAR edition by ALVIN SLATER Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Once again, I'm impressed with Slater's amazing ability to tell a great story while also turning up the heat in a very sexy way. Every guy who fantasized over 'I Dream of Jeannie' will absolutely love this one. It is sort of the HBO version, if you will. And the fantasy/Scifi/erotica all in one story deal? Yes please! Slater's a genius. Read this book.
I've been reading Alvin Slater's books for a while and I just love to see how his writing evolves. He isn't just writing good erotica stories but these stories have an edgy and unexpected storyline. The Astronaut A Genie In Space surprised me with the complexity of the scenes. The romance between Tony Felson and Jeannie Star couldn't be more unique since it's all happening miles away from Earth. Need I say the sex is as steamy and intriguing as possible? I do admire the author's talent and courage in developing new, never seen before stories and I encourage anyone that thinks erotica books are all the same to give this one a try. You're in for a great surprise!
Tony Felson is an astronaut on a space station who thinks he may be losing his mind. First, he thought his friend and partner was dead. Then, the planners failed to allow him to bring along a woman as he had suggested. But suddenly, Jeannie Starr appeared and everything he had every dreamed of became real. Every sensual and sexual fantasy was his for the taking.
“The Astronaut A Genie in Space” is a fun change of pace from Alvin Slater’s edgy erotic thrillers, but no less engrossing and steamy. A fun spin on the “I Dream of Jeannie” concept, Slater gives us a graphic look into the desires of a lonely man in outer space and what happens when an actual genie shows up to grant his every wish.
The story is funny, light-hearted, but hot as heck just like all of Alvin Slater’s novels. His writing is always vivid and well-paced. He does a terrific job utilizing flashbacks (like Tony’s memories of Susie Mars). The plot kept me hooked from page one all the way to the end. I recommend this one to anyone who loves entertaining erotica.
Major Tony Felson travels to outer space. Things haven't gone as planned and he and NASA don't see eye to eye. But that is the least of his worries. He has no woman. All he has are his memories and his desires (wishes). Which are graphic.
He spends large amounts of time fantasizing about having his wishes granted. He wants a woman and he wants her bad. One day his wish is granted – and he makes up for lost time.
This book is a kinda sorta parody of the old TV show “I Dream of Jeannie”. Author Alvin Slater helps the reader explicitly imagine the loneliness of space and, even more explicitly, the ensuing happiness when female companionship finally comes. The story is funny and erotic. I recommend.
Author Alvin Slater is dipping his toes into the Sci-fi genre waters. In a whole, he does a magnificent job! His story is full of characters you immediately latch onto. Not only that but the steamy scenes tie it all together in a sultry red ribbon.
Tony Felson is an astronaut up in space when his traveling companion disappears. He is then visited by his dream woman Jeanie Starr. These two begin their own space adventure and we are along for the ride.
It was hard to put this book down. I want my own Tony Felson in my life! Ah, I can't wait to see what Alvin writes next.
